Distance Learning via Webcasts

The Internet permits coupling live broadcasts with an educational technique called distance learning. Distance Learning is an instructional method that allows teaching and learning to occur when the instructor and the student are not at the same place at the same time for all or part of the instructional process. This method coupled with the internet's reach allows us to provide you with access to serious astrological instruction.

Delivery of course content and interaction with us via live broadcasts over the Internet offers you an invaluable alternative should regular astrological instruction be unavailable. The Distance Learning approach to astrological instruction is also very attractive if you have an independent learning style and your outside commitments preclude your ability to attend class on a regular basis. This does not mean that you will learn in isolation. We like to think of ourselves as an online community and we foster that feeling of human connection in cyberspace by allowing you to interact with us and with other students.

Group Interaction and Active Participation
Interaction with us and your peers is easy and direct; during a live broadcast you may instant message the instructor or ask a question directly if you have a headset. You may ask questions or discuss lesson content with other students. Live web casts enhance your learning experience dramatically versus taking an email course by allowing you to actively participate with the instructor and other students in ongoing discussions. In addition, EACH SESSION IS ARCHIVED after its initial broadcast and can be replayed as many times as you like. This means that you have the ability to view a previously broadcast lesson or to play the session should you have missed the live broadcast. This insures continuity in your learning. You also have access to replay any lesson from any previously registered Quarter as long as you are affiliated with the program.

Some people prefer the independence distance learning affords while others miss being part of the classroom experience. We offer the benefits of both by enhancing the degree of human interaction through a live broadcast.
