Forum on Astrology - Lesson Summaries

Each link listed below will take you to a one page summary that describes the content of a particular weekly lesson from our program. They will give you an insight into the program content and how we unfold the astrological tradition of Morin de Villefranche and Morin's foremost contemporary practitioner, the recently deceased astrologer, Zoltan Mason of New York City.

Each weekly-issued lesson is 5000 to 7000 words in length and is comprised of texts, diagrams, and example charts. A typical lesson presents an overview and discussion of the week's topic which is then applied to example horoscopes.

With Quarter 1, which is an introduction to astrology, there is a deliberate intent to minimize technical terms as our feeling is that such terminology would be an unnecessary obstacle when it comes to unfolding basic concepts.

As one progresses in their studies, a more rigorous and technical oriented language is slowly and progressively introduced. The intent of the first three quarters is to give a clear image and firm grasp of the basic concepts.

Quarter 2 - Theme: Expanding and Deepening the Basics

Quarter 3 deepens analytic skills, adds new material, and reviews previous material but with more of a focus on measuring planetary influences. The latter part of this Quarter emphasizes viewing the chart in a more unified way by weighting the different subunits against one another.
