Quarter 8 - Lesson 3:
Case Study - L. Ron Hubbard

Lesson 4 covers the life Lafayette Ronald Hubbard, the founder of the Church of Scientology, as well as the author of Dianetics. He was also an author of numerous speculative fiction genres for pulp magazines and, later in life, returned to science fiction. Hubbard was a highly controversial public figure during his lifetime. Many details presented by Hubbard of his life and knowledge remain disputed by critics and even governments. Official Scientology biographies present him as "larger than life, attracted to people, liked by people, dynamic, charismatic and immensely capable in two dozen fields.

We evaluate his natal chart and frame its delineation around Morin's comment that it is principally the Planets occupying the First and Tenth Houses or their Rulers which should be examined for Zodiacal state and determinations. We then consider the primary directions under which he married his first, second, and third wives as well as the direction under which he founded Scientology. These directions are considered in terms of Kind, Type, Quality, Quantity and Time of the effect.

The lesson ends with examinations of the solar returns under which he married his wives and founded Scientology.
