Quarter 7 - Lesson 9:
The need to understand the condition of the Significator and Promittor as a basis to determine with any certitude that a given direction will cause an event

As we discussed in last week's lesson, a primary direction brings a Promittor into a relationship to a Significator. We considered the nature, state, and determination of a Significator as the contributor to honors and dignities.

This lesson considers with the same issue of honors and dignities but now taking into account the state of the Promittor in a direction. And just as we have to differentiate the nature, state, and determination of the Significator, so we have to do the same when examining the Promittor. This understanding is necessary to address the next issue: Can we determine with any certitude that a given direction will cause an event?

The basis for determining the effectiveness of the two termini of a direction to precipitate an event depends on strength of both, that is the potency of both the Significator and the Promittor. That will be the issue that will form the content of next week's lesson.
