This lesson reviews the basic concepts for the use of Transits as well as the value of a structured approach for their effective application. It should be recalled that Transits are a simplified form of Return that does not require that we take into account the (Solar or Lunar) Return's houses. With the completion of this Quarter, we now have a good foundation upon which to build our understanding of Returns.

The example horoscope to be used for this lesson is that of Donald Rumsfeld, the recently deposed Secretary of Defense. This lesson will follow last week's format.

This structured approach will be demonstrated through a series of Transits taken from his various Solar and Lunar Returns.
