Quarter 4 - Lesson 7:
Factors that mislead when determining Motivation and Drive

People with planets in angular houses and more specifically those also with planets in cardinal signs - and to a lesser extent in fixed signs - very often feel that they are born to do something special and yet sometimes through this kind of thinking we are mislead and then surprised when we find great accomplishments with those charts that have many planets in cadent houses.

The issue is can their be an interchange of values? Will strong angles always guarantee success while those with planets in cadent placements find themselves resigned to the periphery of success? Our topic again is motivation and drive. We look at the charts of four individuals, all with Scorpio rising, Moon in Leo, and Sun in Capricorn.

Of the four, one is the chart of a Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry; another that of a suicide by gunshot; the third, the chart of an individual with "average motivation; and the last of a very successful young dress designer.

We examine the factors that can qualify and challenge the general notion that angular placements always guarantee great advancements while the contrary does not.
