Quarter 2 - Lesson 4:
Introduction to House Combinations - Part 1

One of the most common situations encountered when examining a chart is to find the ruler of one house in another house. This poses several questions that we would like to examine.

In such a circumstance, will the house affairs ruled by the planet become the cause of the house affairs where that planet is posited? Or do we have two distinct separate determinations where the affairs of the house where a planet is posited becomes the cause of those affairs independent of the consideration that the planet rules over another house. In a similar manner, does that planet which rules over a given house act independently of the consideration that it is found in another house independent of those affairs. Or because we do have the ruler of one house in another anticipate a potential combination at some time in the person's life?

And lastly, is there situation where there will always be a combination in such a way that the affairs of one house cannot act independently of the other because of the planet?

We illustrate these points using the charts of Elvis Presley, Martha Stewart, Leona Helmsley, and Elvis Presley.
