ASTROLOGICAL APHORISMS
Week of: November 9, 2001
- The modern planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) are basically very dangerous, not by their nature, but people as such are very seldom able to respond to the higher finer forces they bring.
- People who have the modern planets influential in their chart break away from conventional attitudes which is not always bad.
- Whether the modern planets are constructive or destructive will depend upon the quality of their underlying octaves. The underlying octave of Uranus is Mercury, the underlying octave of Neptune is Venus, and the underlying octave of Pluto is Mars.
- Uranus brings a strange or unconventional approach that goes against the norms, mores, and customs of their community. There is a great need for freedom (which is not a negative approach to life) but they do not like to be forced to do something.
- Uranus lacks diplomacy and convention because the mind is driven away from the present. Their thinking is either many centuries into the future or many centuries into the past.
- Neptune is connected with acute sensitivity to the environment. They react much too strongly to the vibrations of other people.
- If good, Neptune is the planet of the social worker, the arts, and divine. They show the utmost compassion towards the sufferings of others. If bad, it can be treacherous, deceptive, and promiscuous. Through the acute sensitivity, they anesthetizes themselves with drugs and alcohol.
- The nature of Pluto is a very strong martian attitude. Their is a very strong drive for power and control. If the quality of Pluto is good, their is first destruction and then reconstruction. If bad, there is only the destruction.
