ASTROLOGICAL APHORISMS
Week of: October 19, 2001

  1. Your own horoscope projects your own reality. Reality is how it appears to your senses. The houses show how you experience the various areas of experience.

  2. There are actually only four house cusps: The Angles - 1st, 10th, 7th, and the 4th. All the others are secondary.

  3. The Intermediary Houses serve only to unite the Ascendant with the Descendant, and the Midheaven with the I.C.

  4. Each house should be studied with its opposite.

  5. Houses are axial; the affairs of a house are reflected in the opposite. A bad planet in a house makes cooperation with its opposing house very difficult if not impossible. Consequently, due to the saturnian nature of the opposition, the person will turn away.

  6. Ricochet - Whatever happens in one house happens in the other; the two cooperate.

  7. The opposition of the First House and the Seventh House is a co-operation. A 50/50 attitude is wrong. Each should take over a part of the other in the contract; both should communicate freely without anxiety. It's the same for all the other houses.
