ASTROLOGICAL APHORISMS
Week of: August 31, 2001

  1. Judge the temperament from the Ascendant. Interference is not living up to your own temperament. It's a competition with the Ascendant. The polarity, quadruplicity, and triplicity of the Ascendant is taken as a basis for judgment.

  2. Many people ask, "Where is my destiny"? The destiny is shown by the 10th house cusp. Then why can destiny very often not be realized? Interference.

  3. You must be able to see the interference in the horoscope. This becomes of major importance in horoscope interpretation.

  4. Interference is whatever is extraordinary or that which goes against what you expect (as judged against the Archetype). The presence of interference makes the horoscope complex.

  5. Saturn is the most dreaded planet for interference. Always question the value of a house where Saturn is posited.

  6. Saturn brings conflict as it doesn't fight. Saturn can interfere with consciousness or the free will of the Sun. It can also interfere with the unconscious needs of the Moon by not allowing the instinctual needs to come out.

  7. A conflict is double-natured: the person wants to fight but does not.
