Quarter 2 - Lesson 4
We know that the influence of a planet on a house is never indifferent and that depending on the planet's nature and zodiacal state, the planet will either work for or against the realization of the house affairs. What we want to discover today is the relative strength of each celestial force on a given house and its order of importance relative to the other forces influencing that house.
The purpose of our investigation is always the same: we want to the determine the quantity and quality of every planet that influences a house, but with this additional consideration. Relative to each planet that influences a house, can we order the strength of the planets' influences from strongest to weakest on that house? This latter point is very important as a stronger force will always overwhelm a weaker force and as a consequence will have the greatest say in the realization or destruction of a house's affairs.
Morin uses a single concise statement as a basis to demonstrate the order to observe from the viewpoint of the relative strength of a planet or sign on a house. This sentence is a summary of his theory of determinations,
(Chapter 15 of Astrosynthesis, page 108) states:
"We know that the spaces called Houses actively determine the celestial bodies, whereas the Celestial bodies passively determine the things essentially signified by the Houses".
From this statement he develops and enumerates the nine ways a house can determine a planet or sign. We apply these considerations to a detailed analysis of the 10th House of the actress Geena Davis.
Sincerely,
Robert M. Corre
