Topic: House Realization & Quality based on Two or More Planets in a House

Today's lesson extends the discussion of a single planet found in a house by considering the consequences of several planets in a house on the realization of a house's affairs. Morin summarizes the issue very succinctly in Astrosynthesis when he states,

"The purpose of this examination (of several planets in a house) is to discover first, which of these planets has the greatest power to realize, destroy, or pervert what the house signifies; second, to find out how much and in what way this planet is helped or hindered by the others, and what each one of these others contributes specifically to the help or hindrance".

The lesson also makes use of the Archetype as a guide to unfold the meanings of the 11th and 12th Houses and to demonstrate the consequences of having planets in those houses. The example charts of the pop singer and composer Billy Joel and the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin serve to illustrate, (1) the technique for assessing multiple planets in a house and, (2) how planets in the 11th and 12th Houses of Joel and Putin respectively guided their life choices.
