We often hear curious expressions such as, "As you imagine, so you become", or "You create yourself with the choices you make." What is the meaning behind these intriguing statements and how do they relate to astrology? These expressions are based upon and express the fundamental relationship that exists between the 1st House and the 10th House. Or put another way, these statements express a basic relationship that exists between the two dimensions of the human mind, space and time which we noted in our last lesson.

The goal of this lesson is to demonstrate the fundamental relationship that the First House bears to the Tenth House. The Tenth House is the realization of the person's efforts expressed in the outside physical world. We will apply our studies of this basic relationship by analyzing the horoscope of the very popular actress Julia Roberts. Study of the 10th house is the second step in elementary horoscope interpretation
